The conference will be held at the Palazzo dei Congressi, a newly renovated conference center. The venue has a characteristic semicircular shape and it has a suggestive location near Viale delle Piagge along the Arno river.

How to reach Palazzo dei Congressi

On foot: walk along lungarno Mediceo and Lungarno Buozzi. Palazzo dei Congressi is at the end of Lungarno Buozzi, at the roundabout, turning on the left. It takes approximately 15 minutes walking from Ponte di Mezzo (the central bridge over the River Arno).

By bus:

• from the city centre take bus N. 5 direction “Putignano”. You can get on at Lungarno Pacinotti and Lungarno Mediceo and get off at bus stop “Lungarno Buozzi” (see map).
• from Railway station take bus “LAM BLU” and get off at “Matteotti 3” stop.

You can buy the ticket at a “tabacchi” shop (there are several on Lungarno), or you can buy one from the driver (the price on the bus is higher, euro1,50, and you need to have the exact amount – no change given).
